Gravity, the second studio album by New Flamenco artist Jesse Cook, takes the hybrid new age, jazz and worldbeat theme of his first album, Tempest, and takes it to new heights. In fact, Cook describes this new mix as, 'Gravity Is Rumba Flamenco World Beat Jazz Pop.' Joined by Mario Melo on percussion, and Tony Levin on Bass (of Paul Simon & Peter Gabriel fame) Cook creates the same lively, up-tempo atmosphere as Tempest, here on, 'Closer to Madness' and, 'Brio and Gipsy' but interspersed with more moments of introspection and soft romance, such as on, 'Olodum' and 'Azul.'
